Gomen ! ^_^

No, I'm just gonna give a little information about Spirit Wars - SHs
confirmed by a very reliable source - which you may probably have already
seen.

SPOILER SPOILER

SPOILER (Pika !)

**************************

Spirit Wars

The Battle at Oblivion's Gate is finished. But the war is not. After
Oblivion's Gate fell, the Shadow was pushed back, the Goju were eliminated,
and Rokugan was ready for an age of peace. But a new enemy has risen - this
time not from the Shadowlands, but from the past. Hantei the XVI, the only
Hantei to still lay claim to the throne, has come back for what he believes
is still his. And he has brought a spirit army - an army made up of
Rokugan's most honored ancestors - to back up his claim. With Toturi risen
as well, two spirit emperors now fight for control of the throne and,
ultimately, the future of Rokugan.
Spirit Wars, the newest expansion for Legend of the Five Rings, bridges the
thirty year gap between the Battle at Oblivion's Gate, and the start of Gold
Edition. This set then gives us a taste of both the tone and the style of
Gold Edition. The story, of course, is one of the most crucial elements to
this set. Hantei XVI, an emperor who would make Machiavelli jump up and
down for joy, wants the age of man to end, and the age of myth to begin.
He's brought more than a few friends along for the ride. His army is led by
Hida Tsuneo - The Stone Crab, a legendary general and a ruthless warrior.
Tsuneo leads the spirit armies throughout Rokugan, defeating all in their
path. Bayushi Baku, a Scorpion spirit, is able to set up betrayals that
allow the army to get as far as Beiden Pass before they are turned away.
Toturi's Empire gets a little help from their ancestors as well. Most
notably is another familiar Crab. Hida Sukune is back, and he's willing to
fight to preserve the age of man. The Walls of Otosan Uchi have been
rebuilt. Both the Lion and Phoenix gain new Strongholds; the Lion's Noble
Halls of Akodo adding even more tactical strength, with the Phoenix's Towers
of the Asako adding a cheap action-denial element.
Hantei XVI is nothing to sneeze at himself - forbidding others the chance to
win with an honor victory. The Shrine of Spirits, the Spirit Stronghold, is
very offensively focused and extremely fast. Although the province strength
is zero, you begin the game with six (!) provinces, and your high starting
honor almost guarantees that you'll play first. This Stronghold begs to be
used with corrupt holdings, and a corrupted Spirit deck will be a force to
contend with.

There are many rich subplots available, as well. We get to see Toturi's
four (!) children, as well as The Master Smith ascending and the Jade
Champion driving out all Maho. Also, Hantei XVI's messenger, Miya Dosonu,
left a child with the human he married, Miya Yemi. This
half-human/half-spirit is all that remains of the Spirits, and it remains
almost certain that he'll turn up later.

There are few downsides to this set, and most deal with the fact that this
is a transition set. For example, why include thirteen Sensei if they
aren't Gold legal? It's the same for the Spirit Stronghold - although it
makes sense for story line reasons (they lost the war, so why would they
still be around?). The Spirit Stronghold is only going to be legal in most
tournaments for three, maybe four months. This doesn't make a strong case
for investing the time to play the Stronghold. Also, some might say that
the Phoenix and Lion Strongholds give an unfair advantage - they are early
indicators of which ones players should choose from (both these new ones are
gold bugged - aka Gold legal). And, in what could be construed as a crime
against humanity, Toku is not gold bugged!

As an expansion and as a story, however, Spirit Wars stands up extremely
well.
