Lest you think the monastaries of the Brotherhood of Shinsei are a
place of serene quiet where people do nothing but meditate, focusedly
learning the ways of elements and of chi, I reccomend to you _The Cup_,
a movie about a young Buddhist monk who wants to watch the world cup.
Inspired by real events, the viewer learns that monks are people too,
with desires and troubles, humor and sadness.

It's not on any major distribution that I'm aware of, so keep your eyes peeled
at independent cinema outlets and festivals. More information can be found at
http://indie.imdb.com/Title?0201840 or the official site at

Just wondering,

Am I the only person around here who is sick of getting endless monks
who are bascially komaro?
I mean; five gold cost, about 2 force 3 chi, and some sort of ability
that gives a force and chi bonus.
Sure they were handy at first what with our lack of cash and everything,
but it gets so that you can't fit them all in a deck anyway.
How about some good abilities? I think we need to make the designers
understand that we've got enough of komaro, kirazo, oskuda, hanoshi and
co.

So here's a suggestion, I understand that a lot of other clan lists are
in the habit of bombarding the design people with a bunch of card ideas,
maybe we should try that. Let's see some card ideas, I have a few but
I'll hold off till I know if people think this is a good idea or not.

Thanks for your time

Hoshi Brendon
